Winter is here and with it will be warmer clothes. We will of course continue to train outdoors, because if you only have the right clothes, you can run and train outdoors all year round. Above all, running and cross-country skiing are sports that are fantastic to continue to keep the fitness going. Winter bathing is also something that promotes health and has a positive effect on recovery. Here we have selected the clothes we have in our assortment that are suitable for training outdoors. Our recommendation is to build LAYERS of clothing to adapt to temperature.

We have developed an exclusive BASE consisting of trousers and a long-sleeved shirt in MERINO, where the soft merino wool is closest to the body but has a technical glossy exterior that makes the garment keep its shape in the wash, it is easy to pull other garments over and make it transportable . remove moisture from the body. Merino wool is perfect for keeping warm when it's cold but also adapted to body temperature so it doesn't get hot and therefore goes all year round.

We have also developed a pair of brand new UNDERWEAR PANTS with WIND PROTECTION on the thighs which are excellent to wear UNDER our LEGGINGS. It often gets cold on the thighs when you run to find blisters on the thighs and front of the body and to get around that problem and provide an extra layer of warmth there is now an undershirt with wind protection. This also means that we extend the use of all our leggings to use all year round.

For those who want a pair of slightly stronger leggings/pants for winter training, we have developed a pair of FLOSSED PANTS WITH WIND PROTECTION for running, cross-country skiing or cycling. The pants are a stronger material with a loosened inside and have a higher waist with silicone and a drawstring to sit up and a pocket at the back. The trousers have found material on the thighs and front of the lower legs. A zipper at the back to be able to wear boots or higher boots. The model is not as tight as a regular pair of leggings to accommodate an undergarment.

All our JACKETS are thin windbreakers that we recommend you use as outer shell garments. They are all stretchy and windproof which makes it easy to move when running, cycling or skiing. When we do cardio sports, we sweat easily and then it is important to have many layers that can be taken off and on and each layer provides insulation in itself.

For those who want a pair of leggings with more warmth and protection against cold these are the ultimate leggings/pants for winter training. We have developed a pair of WARM LEGGINGS WITH WIND PROTECTION on the front for running, cross-country skiing or cycling. The leggings are made of a thicker material with a flossed inside, they have a higher waist with silicone to stay in place. The trousers have wind shield/ wind stopper material on the thighs and front of the lower legs. A zipper at the back leg endingand a practical pocket at the lower back. The fit is not as tight as a regular pair of leggings to accommodate an undergarment or underlayer if needed.

Practicing cardio sports places different demands on the clothes, it must be easy to keep warm and at the same time easy to take off when moving and sweating. But what if we told you there are actually some benefits to running in sub zero temperatures and surrounded by snow?

My name is Sofia Muhrbeck, I have trained all my life and during my youth played tennis at an elite level and also spent four years in college in the USA, which resulted in two National Champion titles.

When I moved home to Sweden, I stopped playing tennis and started running. The reason for that was that it was time efficient and easy to fit into the puzzle of life.

I signed up for a couple of races and realized that it was easy to get results by training regularly and varied. My greatest running moment was when I ran the 2016 New York Marathon!

Today, I have two small children and a job that takes a lot of time, but running is my way of refueling, clearing my head and getting "my own time".
I still love the simplicity of running and that I can actually vary it by choosing to run in different and new environments, different distances/intervals and that I can choose for myself whether it should be an undemanding jog or a tough interval session, my daily form simply gets determine!

I am motivated by the feeling after a run and what it gives me, to feel alert in body and mind, I have never regretted a run. I am also spurred on by the fact that running gives me more energy that I can pass on to my family, myself and my job!

I was previously training for the Stockholm Half Marathon in September this year, which was my first race that I ran with my child cheering which was magical. Now I'm betting on a race this spring, maybe it will be the Stockholm Marathon again.
