We had an interview with Pia KInd, worrld Champion in OCR and got to hear about her active life growing up, being interested in many different sports  and how she eventually found her way to OCR. Pia also shared her perspective on aging, which working as a nurse specialized in geriatrics has given her great insights on and how she sees training continuing to be a part of her life all throughout her life.

Water means a lot, we feel good just looking at water, it gives such a calm and we feel harmony. A word that describes swimming for us is "happiness" because swimming always puts us in a good mood and what feels a bit heavy feels lighter afterwards. 10k feels like an exciting adventurous challenge for us, the length above all and see how we react to swimming so far in open water.

"My advice before cycling Vätternrundan is to set a reasonable goal. If it is the first time, "getting around" is a great goal. If you want to do it again later, the goal can be to be better than the first time. The feeling when I came to the finish line after my first Vätternrundan was priceless and I felt that I could do absolutely anything! I signed up and joined Team Rynkeby Sthlm and cycled to Paris the following year."

"This will be my first bike race and I know that I will be very nervous and I will probably doubt my ability along the way, but I will do it anyway. The will is greater than the fear and that feeling is powerful."
