The new “Northern Star” swim collection from Power Woman is done in collaboration with triathlon star Lisa Nordén. The “Northern Star” collection with 3 swimsuit models has a powerful design inspired by the Nordic symbols - Northern Lights and the Pole Star. The swimsuit collection is specially designed to give swimmers the best conditions in water, in pool and in open sea. The collection bears the Power Woman signature - a colorful design with clear inspiration from nature's power elements.
”Swedes and northerners have a special relationship to open water. We usually swim in indoor environments, and this is perhaps why we embrace to swim in open water. I love swimming in open water, to see the sky and clouds above me while having the big blue below me. It makes you humble towards nature and its powers. The Northern Star collection is inspired by the northern lights, one of nature's most powerful spectacles. It is a reminder of how beautiful the world really is and how power it is. "My name is Lisa Nordén and I am a triathlete. Actually, I grew up as a girl with horses but slipped into triathlon in high school and since 2003 it became "my" sport". I basically moved down to Australia after college and learned to freestyle and catch waves at Bondi Beach in Sydney. Since then, there have been three Olympic Games with a silver medal as the highlight, as well as three world championship titles. I made a short visit into the world of cycling with two world championships and a bunch of SM titles as a result but now started one of the most exciting projects to date, Ironman. I have probably never been faced with a task that requires more humility and patience than Ironman. Everything is put to the test in Ironman and somehow I enjoy turning myself inside out, finding out who I am and what I really want. It is a fascinating process."

It's not about age - it's about embracing life. Just like this picture. Three women; a teenager, one in her early twenties, and one soon to be 50. This is what we had in mind, designing the new Sporty Swimmer collection as a tribute to joy and playfulness in water, no matter age.
The print is made inhouse in Sweden and the production and fabric is from Spain. Anna, Linnea and Wilhelmina wear size S and are 160-170cm.
