Sustainability

To keep enjoying the outdoors we train in, running, swimming, cycling, we need to take care of it. For Power Woman, sustainability starts with the principle our products have always been built on: high-quality garments made to last through years of intense training.

Garments that last

The most sustainable garment is the one that stays in active use for years. We choose fabrics for the demands of each product, breathability, warmth, chlorine resistance or low weight, and we hold the details to the same standard. Zippers, prints and drawstrings should last as long as the garment itself.

Our quality standards keep returns and manufacturing defects rare. And if a garment is damaged, we prioritise repairing it, extending its life rather than replacing it.

Conscious choices in design and production

We continuously explore materials that reduce environmental impact, choosing recycled polyester where it meets our performance requirements. We design for longevity, not seasons. And we produce in small quantities to minimise overproduction and excess inventory.

Your part matters

We design every garment with care from start to finish, but a garment's lifespan is also decided in your hands. Three habits make the biggest difference:

  • Follow the care instructions. Swimwear used in chlorinated water should be washed after every session to stop chlorine from breaking down the fabric. Other garments only need washing when they are dirty, skip unnecessary washes and always run a full machine.
  • Skip the tumble dryer. Tumble drying wears down elasticity and releases microplastics. Technical fabrics air-dry quickly, and you save energy.
  • Skip fabric softener. It damages the properties of technical fabrics.

Give your garments a second life

We want your Power Woman pieces to stay in your training wardrobe for years. When your needs change, pass them on. Our buy and sell group on Facebook is where used Power Woman garments find new owners.
