POWER WOMAN - trusted by 20,000+ women since 2014

The formulation

Developed for women who train for the long run

Power Woman was born out of triathlon in 2014. The Daily Performance carries that origin: a single formulation built around what training asks of a woman's body. [CLAIM]

Thirty-eight active ingredients, each dosed at the levels used in published research, each listed on the label with its exact amount. One scoop a day, instead of a shelf of separate supplements. [CLAIM]

Built to last, inside and out.

How it works in your body

Eight systems, supported daily

Click an ingredient to learn more. All 38, with exact amounts, in the nutrition table.

Daily routine

My one scoop habit

One scoop in 200 to 300 ml of cold water. Stir, drink.

Every morning

Most take it at breakfast, before the day starts asking for things. Keep the pouch on the counter, where you see it.

Same ritual

Training day or rest day, the dose is the same. There is nothing to decide.

Consistency

A daily habit takes a few weeks to stop feeling like a decision. Missing one day does not set it back, pick it up tomorrow.

The shelf

All 38, in one pouch

Every active in this formulation is also sold on its own. Bought that way, the same 38 cost more than 1 300 kr a month.

One pouch. Half the price.

0+ kr¹

Bought separately

A separate tub, jar or bottle for each active.

0 kr

One pouch

Everything in one scoop, once a day.

¹ All 38 actives, bought separately: priced at Swedish online pharmacy retail in September 2026, at the amount one scoop provides. Where an active is only sold at a higher strength than this formulation uses, the price is the one the market charges. Choline and inositol share a capsule. The ten bacterial strains are one culture.

Nutrition information

Per daily serving of one scoop. NRV, the nutrient reference value, is the daily intake set by the EU for vitamins and minerals. Amino acids, creatine and other actives have no NRV, which is why some rows show a dash. Click any row for dose, form, research and approved claims.

Ingredient Form Per serving % NRV

Ingredient

Creatine

Monohydrate, the most studied form.

Creatine is a molecule the body produces naturally and stores in muscle tissue, where it supports energy turnover during short, high-intensity effort. It's one of the most extensively researched supplements in sport, with decades of safety and performance data behind it.

Form & bioavailability

We use creatine monohydrate — the form with the most clinical documentation and reliably high bioavailability. Other forms (HCl, ethyl ester) are marketed as "better absorbed" but haven't shown an advantage over monohydrate in head-to-head research.

Dose in the evidence

Studies supporting the EU-authorised claim are based on 3g/day. The Daily Performance delivers 3000mg per serving.
Authorised health claims (EU Register)
“Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high intensity exercise.”
This is the exact wording permitted under the EU Register of authorised health claims. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine — the dose this product provides.

What research says

A systematic review of creatine supplementation in active females. The authors conclude the evidence is inconclusive: some benefits were reported, but most studies showed no improvement in performance versus placebo.

Nutrients, 2025 ↗

Creatine supplementation in women's health, across the lifespan — from menstruation through menopause.

Nutrients, 2021 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Do women need to load creatine?
No. A loading phase speeds up muscle saturation but isn't required — a consistent daily dose reaches the same saturation within a few weeks.
Does creatine affect fluid balance?
Creatine draws a small amount of water into muscle cells (not under the skin), which is part of how it works. This isn't the same as visible bloating, and it resolves once intake stops.

Ingredient

L-glutamine

The most abundant amino acid in the body — replenished after hard training.

Glutamine is an amino acid your muscles use heavily during intense or prolonged exercise. Levels can drop after hard sessions, and supplementation is one of the more studied ways to support recovery during that window.

Form & bioavailability

We use free-form L-glutamine, the form used in the supporting research and readily absorbed without further digestion.

Dose in the evidence

Recovery studies commonly use daily doses in the 5-6g range, sometimes split across the day. The Daily Performance provides 2g per serving, below that range and intended as a daily contribution alongside dietary protein.

What research says

Glutamine supplementation reduced muscular damage biomarkers (creatine kinase, myoglobin) in professional basketball players following intense training.

Nutrients, 2021 ↗

Glutamine supplementation during recovery from eccentric exercise attenuated strength loss and muscle soreness compared with placebo.

Journal of Exercise Science & Fitness, 2011 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Is glutamine only useful for athletes?
Most research is in trained or actively exercising populations, since that's when the body's glutamine demand rises fastest. It isn't an essential supplement for sedentary use.
Can I get glutamine from food?
Yes — it's present in protein-rich foods like meat, dairy, and legumes. Supplementation is about topping up during higher-demand periods, not replacing diet.

Ingredient

Taurine

An amino sulfonic acid involved in muscle and nervous system function.

Taurine is found naturally in the body's muscle, brain, and heart tissue, and plays a role in regulating fluid balance and reducing oxidative stress during exercise. It's a common ingredient in performance formulas, with a growing body of research on fatigue and endurance.

Form & bioavailability

We use free-form taurine, identical to the form used across the cited research.

Dose in the evidence

Studies showing reduced fatigue and improved exercise time-to-exhaustion have used doses from roughly 1g up to 2g taken multiple times daily. The Daily Performance provides 1.5g per serving, within that range as a single daily dose.

What research says

A systematic review of the dose-response relationship between taurine supplementation and aerobic and strength exercise outcomes.

Frontiers in Physiology, 2021 ↗

Taurine combined with caffeine improved repetitive sprint performance and cognition under hypoxic conditions.

Scientific Reports, 2025 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Is taurine the same as what's in energy drinks?
Chemically yes, but energy drinks typically pair it with high caffeine and sugar. Here it's dosed on its own, alongside the rest of the formula.
Does taurine help with muscle cramps?
Its role in fluid and electrolyte balance is one proposed mechanism, but the current evidence on cramps specifically is limited — most research instead focuses on fatigue and endurance.

Ingredient

Acetyl-L-carnitine

A carnitine compound that crosses into the brain more readily than other forms.

Acetyl-L-carnitine (ALCAR) is involved in transporting fatty acids into cells for energy production, and is one of the few carnitine forms that crosses the blood-brain barrier efficiently. Most current research centers on mental fatigue and cognitive support rather than muscular performance.

Form & bioavailability

We use the acetylated form (ALCAR) specifically because of its better brain bioavailability compared to plain L-carnitine.

Dose in the evidence

Trials reporting reduced fatigue and improved cognitive measures have used 1.5-3g per day over several weeks, largely in older populations. The Daily Performance provides 750mg per serving, below those doses.

What research says

A systematic review of L-carnitine's effects in psychiatric and neurological contexts, including fatigue and cognitive measures.

Nutrients, 2024 ↗

L-carnitine treatment reduced severity of physical and mental fatigue and improved cognitive function scores in a randomised controlled trial. The trial population was centenarians.

The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, 2007 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Is this the same as the carnitine in fat-burner supplements?
It's the same base compound, but we include it for its researched role in mental fatigue and cellular energy production — not as a weight-loss ingredient.
How is ALCAR different from regular L-carnitine?
The acetyl group helps it cross into the brain more efficiently, which is why it's the preferred form for cognitive-focused research.

Ingredient

Inositol

A naturally occurring compound involved in cell signaling and mood regulation.

Inositol is a vitamin-like compound the body uses in cell signaling pathways linked to insulin sensitivity and neurotransmitter activity. Much of the recent clinical research is in women specifically, particularly around hormonal and mood-related outcomes.

Form & bioavailability

We use myo-inositol, the most-studied of the nine inositol isomers and the form used in the majority of clinical trials.

Dose in the evidence

Clinical research spans a wide range — metabolic studies often use 2-4g/day, while higher-dose mood studies have used 12-18g/day. The Daily Performance provides 500mg per serving, a maintenance-level contribution rather than a therapeutic one.

What research says

An umbrella review of meta-analyses on inositol's effects in women with polycystic ovary syndrome, including metabolic and hormonal markers.

Frontiers in Endocrinology, 2026 ↗

A meta-analysis of inositol for depression and anxiety disorders. No statistically significant overall effect was found; the authors report a non-significant trend toward benefit in premenstrual dysphoric disorder.

Human Psychopharmacology: Clinical and Experimental, 2014 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Is inositol only relevant if I have PCOS?
No — most of the strongest clinical data comes from PCOS research, but inositol's role in cell signaling is relevant more broadly. We include it at a general maintenance dose.
Is inositol a vitamin?
It's sometimes called 'vitamin B8,' but the body can also produce it itself, so it isn't classified as an essential vitamin in the strict sense.

Ingredient

Coenzyme Q10

An antioxidant compound central to cellular energy production.

CoQ10 is a naturally occurring antioxidant and a required component of the mitochondrial process that turns food into usable energy. Levels can decline with age, and supplementation has been studied for its effect on general fatigue.

Form & bioavailability

We use ubiquinone, the standard and most widely researched form of CoQ10.

Dose in the evidence

A meta-analysis across 13 randomized controlled trials found fatigue reduction scaled with both daily dose and duration of use, across study doses from 30 to 500mg/day. The Daily Performance provides 100mg per serving, at the lower end of that range.

What research says

A systematic review and meta-analysis of 13 randomized controlled trials found CoQ10 supplementation produced a statistically significant reduction in fatigue scores versus placebo.

Frontiers in Pharmacology, 2022 ↗

A GRADE-assessed systematic review and dose-response meta-analysis of 28 randomised controlled trials found CoQ10 supplementation reduced biomarkers of exercise-induced muscle damage (creatine kinase, lactate dehydrogenase, myoglobin) and oxidative stress, with the effect scaling per 100 mg/day.

Clinical Nutrition ESPEN, 2024 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Why would a performance product include an antioxidant?
CoQ10's primary role is enabling the mitochondrial energy process itself, not just neutralizing oxidative stress afterward — that's why it's researched for fatigue specifically.
Does the body make its own CoQ10?
Yes, but natural production tends to decline with age, which is the basis for most supplementation research.

Ingredient

L-theanine

An amino acid found in tea leaves, studied for calm, focused attention.

L-theanine is naturally present in tea and is widely studied for its effect on stress response and attention — promoting what researchers describe as 'relaxed focus' without sedation.

Form & bioavailability

We use a green tea extract (Camellia sinensis) standardised to 20% L-theanine, dosed for consistency batch to batch rather than relying on the variable amounts found in brewed tea.

Dose in the evidence

The most consistent stress and attention effects in trials use a single dose of around 200mg, or daily intake at that level over several weeks. The Daily Performance provides less than that as part of a daily formula, rather than a stand-alone stress dose.

What research says

A randomized, triple-blind, placebo-controlled crossover study (n=16) found a single 200 mg dose of a branded L-theanine ingredient reduced markers of stress reactivity in healthy adults.

Neurology and Therapy, 2021 ↗

A randomized controlled trial found 200 mg of L-theanine daily for four weeks improved stress-related symptoms and cognitive function scores in healthy adults.

Nutrients, 2019 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Will L-theanine make me drowsy?
No — research describes its effect as calming without sedation, which is why it's often paired with caffeine-containing formulas rather than used as a sleep aid.
Is this the same theanine that's in green tea?
Yes, the same compound — just isolated and dosed consistently rather than varying cup to cup.

Ingredient

Ginger extract

A root extract studied for exercise-induced muscle soreness.

Ginger has a long history of traditional use and a growing body of clinical research on exercise-induced muscle soreness and markers of inflammation following intense training.

Form & bioavailability

We use a standardized ginger root extract, dosed for consistency batch to batch (unlike whole ginger powder, which varies in active compound content).

Dose in the evidence

Studies showing reduced muscle pain have used 2g to 4g of whole ginger powder daily, started several days before the triggering exercise. The Daily Performance provides 75mg of extract standardised to 6% gingerols — a lower gingerol intake than those protocols, included as part of a daily formula rather than a pre-load.

What research says

Daily ginger supplementation (2 g of raw or heat-treated ginger for 11 days) reduced exercise-induced muscle pain by approximately 25% compared to placebo.

The Journal of Pain, 2010 ↗

Ginger and cinnamon intake reduced inflammation and muscle soreness following exercise in female athletes.

International Journal of Preventive Medicine, 2013 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Is this the same as cooking ginger?
It's derived from the same root, but standardized to a consistent concentration of active compounds — closer to what's used in the cited research than what you'd get from food alone.
Why isn't there a health claim box on this page like Creatine's?
Ginger's joint and inflammation claims are still pending review at the EU level — they haven't been approved, so we don't present them as approved claims. We only describe what the research shows.

Ingredient

Lactic acid bacteria complex

A blend of bacterial cultures studied for digestive and gut health support.

This is a blend of live bacterial cultures studied for their role in gut microbiota composition and digestive comfort. Several recent studies have specifically examined multi-strain blends in women's health contexts.

Form & bioavailability

We use a multi-strain blend selected for documented survival through gastric acid and bile salts — a key factor in whether a bacterial culture reaches the gut intact.

Dose in the evidence

Clinical trials of multi-strain blends span a very wide CFU range, from a few billion for daily maintenance up to several hundred billion in therapeutic studies. The Daily Performance provides 5 billion CFU across ten strains — a daily maintenance dose, not a therapeutic one.

What research says

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study found multi-species bacterial culture supplementation changed gut microbiota function (though not composition) in postmenopausal women with obesity, with favorable effects on metabolic markers.

Frontiers in Cellular and Infection Microbiology, 2022 ↗

A randomized, double-blind controlled trial of a nine-strain probiotic in 100 adults with gastrointestinal dysfunction reported reduced indigestion, abdominal pain and irregularity after four weeks. The trial used daily doses far above a typical maintenance product.

Frontiers in Nutrition, 2025 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Why is this called a 'bacterial culture blend' instead of a probiotic?
At EU level there is no authorised health claim for any bacterial strain, and several countries treat the word 'probiotic' as an implied claim in itself. National positions differ across our markets, so we describe what the blend is rather than imply a benefit that isn't authorised.
Does this need to be refrigerated?
No — the strains used are selected and processed for room-temperature stability through the product's shelf life.

Ingredient

Himalayan Pink Salt

Unrefined salt, included as an electrolyte source.

Himalayan pink salt is unrefined sodium chloride that also carries trace minerals from its rock-salt source. In a daily formula its role is practical: it supplies sodium and chloride, the electrolytes lost in sweat, to complement the potassium and magnesium in the blend.

Form & bioavailability

We use unrefined Himalayan salt (sodium chloride). The pink colour comes from trace iron and other minerals, though these are present in nutritionally negligible amounts — the functional contribution is sodium and chloride.

Dose in the evidence

The Daily Performance provides 500mg of Himalayan salt per serving. This is an electrolyte contribution to the daily formula rather than a therapeutic dose, and sits well within normal dietary sodium intake.

Common questions

Why isn't there a health claim box on this page?
Sodium chloride carries no authorised health claims under EU rules — the one chloride claim in the Register specifically excludes chloride from salt. We include it as a functional electrolyte, not for a claimed benefit.
Are the trace minerals in pink salt meaningful?
No. The trace minerals give the salt its colour but are present in amounts too small to contribute nutritionally. The relevant components are sodium and chloride.

Ingredient

Choline

A vitamin-like nutrient central to liver and lipid metabolism.

Choline is an essential nutrient the body cannot make in sufficient quantity, used to build cell membranes, transport fat out of the liver, and produce the neurotransmitter acetylcholine. Intakes below requirement are common, and observational research links low choline intake to fat accumulation in the liver, including in women.

Form & bioavailability

We use choline bitartrate, a stable, water-soluble salt that delivers choline efficiently and is the form used across most supplementation research.

Dose in the evidence

Controlled depletion studies show that inadequate choline raises liver-enzyme markers within weeks, reversing when choline is restored. The Daily Performance provides 100mg per serving, which meets the intake condition attached to choline's EU-authorised claims (82.5mg per portion).
Authorised health claims (EU Register)
“Choline contributes to normal lipid metabolism”
Choline is used to build the phospholipids that transport fat out of the liver. At 100 mg per serving the product exceeds the 82.5 mg per portion this claim requires.
“Choline contributes to the maintenance of normal liver function”

What research says

Choline, its potential role in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease, and the case for human and bacterial genes.

Advances in Nutrition, 2015 ↗

Higher dietary choline intake is associated with lower risk of nonalcoholic fatty liver in normal-weight Chinese women.

The Journal of Nutrition, 2014 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Isn't choline a B vitamin?
It's vitamin-like and works alongside folate and B12 in one-carbon metabolism, but it's classified as an essential nutrient in its own right rather than a numbered B vitamin.
Does the product carry a choline claim?
Choline carries three EU-authorised claims — for lipid metabolism, liver function and homocysteine metabolism — and the 100mg dose meets the 82.5mg per portion they require. The authorised wording is shown on this page.

Ingredient

Vitamin C

L-ascorbic acid, an antioxidant with a role in iron uptake.

Vitamin C is a water-soluble antioxidant the body cannot store or synthesise, required for collagen formation, immune function, and the absorption of plant-source iron. Its role in enhancing non-haem iron uptake is directly relevant to women, who have higher rates of low iron status.

Form & bioavailability

We use L-ascorbic acid, the standard and most-studied form of vitamin C, identical to the form in the supporting research.

Dose in the evidence

Controlled studies show around 50mg of vitamin C per meal meaningfully improves non-haem iron absorption. The exercise-immunity claim requires 200mg in addition to the recommended daily intake. The Daily Performance provides 300mg per serving, above both thresholds.
Authorised health claims (EU Register)
“Vitamin C contributes to maintain the normal function of the immune system during and after intense physical exercise”

Common questions

Should I take vitamin C with the iron in this formula?
They're already dosed together here. Vitamin C keeps iron in its more absorbable form, which is one reason the two are combined in the same serving.
Is 300mg too much?
No. It's above the reference intake but well within safe limits; excess vitamin C is water-soluble and excreted rather than stored.

Ingredient

Niacin

Vitamin B3, as nicotinamide — a precursor to the NAD coenzymes.

Niacin (vitamin B3) is the precursor to NAD and NADP, the coenzymes that drive energy-releasing reactions in every cell. It also supports the maintenance of normal skin and mucous membranes, and normal nervous-system and psychological function.

Form & bioavailability

We use nicotinamide (niacinamide), the non-flushing form of vitamin B3 — unlike nicotinic acid, it does not cause the transient skin flush associated with higher niacin doses.

Dose in the evidence

Nicotinamide's role in restoring cellular NAD and supporting skin barrier function is well characterised in the biochemical and dermatological literature. The Daily Performance provides 48mg per serving (300% NRV), a nutritional dose rather than the high pharmacological doses used in lipid or skin-therapy studies.

Nutrients, 2020 ↗

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Will this cause the niacin 'flush'?
No. Flushing is associated with nicotinic acid at higher doses. We use nicotinamide, which does not produce that response.
Why is B3 in a performance formula?
Its coenzymes NAD and NADP are central to turning food into usable energy, which is why B3 sits alongside the other B vitamins in the blend.

Ingredient

Pantothenic acid

Vitamin B5, the building block of coenzyme A.

Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) is required to make coenzyme A, the carrier molecule at the centre of fat, carbohydrate and protein metabolism. It also contributes to normal mental performance and to the synthesis of steroid hormones, vitamin D and certain neurotransmitters.

Form & bioavailability

We use calcium D-pantothenate, the stable calcium salt of the biologically active D-form and the standard supplemental source of vitamin B5.

Dose in the evidence

B5's function as the coenzyme A precursor makes it a fixed requirement for energy-yielding metabolism; frank deficiency is rare. The Daily Performance provides 30mg per serving (500% NRV), a nutritional dose that reliably covers requirement.

Common questions

Do I need to supplement B5?
Deficiency is uncommon because B5 is widespread in food. It's included to guarantee the coenzyme A supply that energy metabolism depends on, as part of a complete B-complex.
Is women-specific research available?
Little B5 research is women-specific; the evidence base is largely biochemical, describing its universal role in coenzyme A and energy metabolism.

Ingredient

Vitamin E

A fat-soluble antioxidant protecting cell membranes.

Vitamin E is the principal fat-soluble antioxidant in the body, protecting cell membranes from oxidative damage. Beyond that authorised role, it has been studied specifically in women for menstrual pain, where its antioxidant action on prostaglandin pathways is the proposed mechanism.

Form & bioavailability

We use DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate, the stable esterified form of vitamin E that resists oxidation on the shelf and is converted to active tocopherol in the body.

Dose in the evidence

Randomised trials reporting reduced menstrual pain have used higher therapeutic doses (around 200-500 IU/day) taken around menstruation. The Daily Performance provides 18mg per serving (150% NRV), a nutritional antioxidant dose rather than the therapeutic dose used in those dysmenorrhoea trials.

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Is the dose here enough to affect period pain?
The dysmenorrhoea trials used substantially higher doses than the nutritional amount in this formula. We include vitamin E for its authorised antioxidant role, not as a menstrual-pain treatment.
Why pair it with vitamin C?
Vitamin C helps regenerate the active form of vitamin E, so the two antioxidants support each other within the formula.

Ingredient

Thiamine

Vitamin B1, a coenzyme in carbohydrate metabolism.

Thiamine (vitamin B1) is a coenzyme in the reactions that release energy from carbohydrate, and supports normal nervous-system, psychological and cardiac function. It has an older but notable body of trial evidence in women for menstrual pain.

Form & bioavailability

We use thiamine hydrochloride, the standard water-soluble supplemental form used in the supporting research.

Dose in the evidence

A large placebo-controlled trial in young women reported meaningful reductions in menstrual pain with 100mg of thiamine daily. The Daily Performance provides 5.5mg per serving (500% NRV) — a nutritional dose that covers requirement, well below the therapeutic dose used in that dysmenorrhoea trial.

Common questions

Does the amount here treat period pain?
No. The trial dose was around eighteen times the nutritional amount in this formula. Thiamine is included for its authorised role in energy metabolism and nervous-system function.
Why so far above the reference intake?
Thiamine is water-soluble with a wide safety margin; a generous nutritional dose ensures the B-complex covers requirement even with variable diet.

Ingredient

Riboflavin

Vitamin B2, a coenzyme in energy metabolism and iron handling.

Riboflavin (vitamin B2) forms the coenzymes FAD and FMN, which are essential to energy-releasing metabolism and to the body's use of iron. It is also the most established micronutrient in migraine prophylaxis — relevant given migraine's roughly threefold higher prevalence in women.

Form & bioavailability

We use riboflavin in its standard supplemental form, readily converted to its active FAD and FMN coenzymes.

Dose in the evidence

The migraine-prophylaxis trials that made riboflavin well known used 400mg daily over several months. The Daily Performance provides 7mg per serving (500% NRV) — a nutritional dose covering requirement, far below the therapeutic dose used in that research.

Common questions

Will this help with migraine?
The migraine evidence is for 400mg daily — far above the nutritional amount here. We include riboflavin for its authorised role in energy metabolism, not as a migraine treatment.
Why does my urine turn bright yellow?
That's riboflavin being excreted, and is harmless. It simply reflects that intake exceeds what the body needs at that moment.

Ingredient

Vitamin B6

Pyridoxine, involved in amino acid metabolism and hormonal regulation.

Vitamin B6 is a coenzyme in more than a hundred reactions, including neurotransmitter synthesis and the regulation of hormonal activity. It is one of the longest-studied nutrients for premenstrual symptoms, where systematic reviews report a benefit over placebo.

Form & bioavailability

We use pyridoxine hydrochloride, the standard supplemental form of B6 used across the premenstrual-symptom research.

Dose in the evidence

Premenstrual-symptom trials have generally used 50-100mg daily, sometimes with magnesium. The Daily Performance provides 7mg per serving (500% NRV) — a nutritional dose that fully covers requirement while staying well clear of the high chronic intakes that carry a nerve-related upper-limit caution.

Common questions

Is this dose useful for PMS?
The PMS trials used higher doses than the nutritional amount here. B6 is included at a level that covers requirement and supports its authorised role in hormonal regulation, alongside magnesium.
Can you take too much B6?
Very high, sustained doses have been linked to reversible nerve symptoms. At 7mg this formula is far below that range.

Ingredient

Folate

The active methylfolate form, central to one-carbon metabolism.

Folate is a B vitamin essential to DNA synthesis, blood formation and the metabolism of homocysteine. It matters particularly for women of reproductive age, and meta-analyses show its homocysteine-lowering effect is greater in women than in men.

Form & bioavailability

We use calcium L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate — the active methylfolate already in circulation, rather than synthetic folic acid. It bypasses the enzymatic conversion step that is reduced in people carrying common MTHFR gene variants.

Dose in the evidence

Randomised trials in women of childbearing age show that 400ug of folate daily significantly lowers plasma homocysteine. The Daily Performance provides 400ug per serving (200% NRV), matching that studied intake.

Common questions

Why methylfolate instead of folic acid?
Methylfolate is the form the body actually uses, so it doesn't depend on the MTHFR conversion step that a large share of people carry a less-efficient version of.
Is this a prenatal supplement?
No. Folate is included for its general role in blood formation and homocysteine metabolism. The Daily Performance is not intended for use during pregnancy — see the pack guidance.

Ingredient

Biotin

Vitamin B7, a coenzyme in macronutrient metabolism.

Biotin (vitamin B7) is a coenzyme for the carboxylase enzymes involved in fat, carbohydrate and protein metabolism, and contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin. It is widely marketed for hair and nails, though the clinical evidence for that use is modest and largely limited to people who are deficient.

Form & bioavailability

We use D-biotin, the naturally occurring and biologically active form of the vitamin.

Dose in the evidence

A small study in people with brittle nails reported increased nail thickness at 2,500ug/day, but reviews conclude there is little evidence of hair or nail benefit in people who are not deficient. The Daily Performance provides 300ug per serving (600% NRV), a nutritional dose that covers requirement.

Common questions

Will biotin thicken my hair and nails?
Reliable improvements are mainly seen in people who are actually deficient. In people with normal biotin status the evidence is weak, so we include it for its authorised metabolic role rather than as a hair or nail treatment.
Can biotin affect blood tests?
High-dose biotin can interfere with some laboratory immunoassays. At 300ug this formula is a modest nutritional dose, but it's still worth telling your clinician you take a supplement before testing.

Ingredient

Vitamin B12

Methylcobalamin, essential for blood cells and the nervous system.

Vitamin B12 is required for red blood cell formation, nervous-system function and, with folate, the metabolism of homocysteine. Low status is more common in people eating little animal food, a group that skews female, making a well-absorbed B12 relevant in a women's formula.

Form & bioavailability

We use methylcobalamin, a coenzyme form of B12 that is used directly in methylation reactions rather than requiring conversion from the synthetic cyanocobalamin form.

Dose in the evidence

Trials show daily oral doses in the 50-100ug range are sufficient to correct marginal deficiency in vegetarians and vegans. The Daily Performance provides 50ug per serving, within that effective range; the high %NRV reflects B12's very low reference intake.

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

Why is the %NRV so high at 2000%?
B12's reference intake is very small, so even a modest dose looks large as a percentage. The active uptake pathway saturates at a small amount per dose, but a further one to two percent is absorbed passively — which is why oral doses in this range still raise B12 status.
Is methylcobalamin better than cyanocobalamin?
It's a directly usable coenzyme form. Both raise B12 status; we use methylcobalamin so no conversion step is required.

Ingredient

Vitamin D3

Cholecalciferol, for bone, muscle and immune function.

Vitamin D regulates calcium balance and supports the maintenance of normal bone, muscle function and the immune system. Insufficiency is common, particularly at higher latitudes, and much of the strongest trial evidence comes from studies in postmenopausal women.

Form & bioavailability

We use vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol), the form the skin produces from sunlight and the more effective of the two dietary forms at raising and maintaining blood vitamin D.

Dose in the evidence

Bone-health trials in postmenopausal women have used 800 IU (20ug) daily, generally with calcium, and a meta-analysis links vitamin D to improved handgrip strength in this group. The Daily Performance provides 60ug (2,400 IU) per serving (1200% NRV), a maintenance dose in the range used to correct insufficiency.

Common questions

Is D3 better than D2?
D3 (cholecalciferol) is generally more effective than D2 at raising and sustaining blood vitamin D levels, which is why we use it.
Why pair vitamin D with vitamin K2?
Vitamin D supports calcium absorption while K2 supports how calcium is used in bone, so the two are commonly combined in bone-focused formulas.
Is 60ug (2,400 IU) of vitamin D a lot?
It is a maintenance dose in the range used to correct insufficiency, and it sits below the 100ug daily upper limit EFSA sets for adults. If you already take a separate vitamin D supplement, count both.

Ingredient

Vitamin K2

Menaquinone-7 (MK-7), directing calcium toward bone.

Vitamin K2 activates the proteins that bind calcium into bone, complementing vitamin D's role in absorbing it. The menaquinone-7 form has been studied specifically for bone maintenance in postmenopausal women, the group at highest risk of accelerated bone loss.

Form & bioavailability

We use vitamin K2 as menaquinone-7 (MK-7), the long-chain menaquinone with the longest half-life in blood and the form used in the postmenopausal bone research.

Dose in the evidence

A three-year trial in healthy postmenopausal women used 180ug of MK-7 daily and reported reduced age-related bone loss; a second three-year trial at 375ug did not show a significant benefit on bone mineral density. The Daily Performance provides 75ug per serving (100% NRV), a maintenance dose that meets the full reference intake.

Research describes the ingredient in general and is kept separate from the authorised claims above. It does not constitute a promise about what this product does.

Common questions

How is K2 different from K1?
K1 (from leafy greens) is used mainly by the liver for clotting; K2 is taken up more by other tissues, including bone, and stays in circulation longer in the MK-7 form.
Does the 75ug dose match the bone studies?
The bone trials used higher doses — 180ug in one three-year trial, and 375ug in another that did not show a significant benefit. We include K2 at a full reference-intake maintenance level to complement the vitamin D and magnesium in the formula.
Can I take K2 if I'm on blood-thinning medication?
If you take a vitamin K antagonist such as warfarin, speak to your doctor before taking any supplement containing vitamin K, including this one. Vitamin K affects how these medicines work, and their dose is set against your usual intake.

Ingredient

Potassium

An electrolyte for nerve, muscle and blood-pressure regulation.

Potassium is the main electrolyte inside cells, essential for nerve signalling, muscle contraction and the maintenance of normal blood pressure. Most people consume less than recommended, and increasing intake has a well-documented, dose-dependent effect on blood pressure.

Form & bioavailability

We use tri-potassium citrate, a well-tolerated, readily soluble potassium salt that avoids the gastric irritation associated with potassium chloride.

Dose in the evidence

A dose-response meta-analysis of randomised trials shows potassium's blood-pressure effect is clearest in people with hypertension and higher sodium intake. The Daily Performance provides 500mg per serving (25% NRV) — a meaningful electrolyte contribution within a formula, not a substitute for dietary potassium from food.

Common questions

Why is the potassium amount relatively modest?
Several EU countries set national maximum levels for potassium in food supplements, and most potassium should come from food in any case. The 500mg here complements a potassium-rich diet rather than replacing it.
Who should be cautious with added potassium?
People with kidney impairment or on certain blood-pressure medicines should check with a clinician, since these can raise blood potassium.

Ingredient

Magnesium

A cofactor in hundreds of reactions, in a well-absorbed chelate.

Magnesium is a cofactor in several hundred enzymatic reactions, including energy metabolism, muscle and nervous-system function and protein synthesis. It has a substantial women-specific evidence base, particularly for premenstrual symptoms, often studied together with vitamin B6.

Form & bioavailability

We use magnesium bisglycinate, magnesium chelated to the amino acid glycine. This form is well absorbed and gentler on the gut than magnesium oxide, which is poorly absorbed and more likely to cause loosening of the stool.

Dose in the evidence

Premenstrual-symptom trials have used around 200-360mg of magnesium daily, sometimes with B6. The Daily Performance provides 193mg per serving (51% NRV), close to the lower end of that studied range and combined with B6 as in the research.

Common questions

Why bisglycinate rather than a cheaper magnesium?
Bisglycinate is absorbed well and is less likely to cause the digestive upset associated with magnesium oxide, which matters in a product taken daily.
Is it paired with B6 on purpose?
Yes. Several premenstrual-symptom trials combined magnesium with B6, and both are present together in this formula.

Ingredient

Iron

A gentle bisglycinate form, for oxygen transport and fatigue.

Iron is required to form haemoglobin and transport oxygen, and it contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Menstruating women are the group most likely to have low iron stores, and trials show that even non-anaemic women with low ferritin can experience less fatigue with iron.

Form & bioavailability

We use ferrous bisglycinate, iron chelated to glycine. It is well absorbed and markedly gentler on the digestive system than ferrous sulfate, which is a common cause of the constipation and nausea that put people off iron.

Dose in the evidence

Randomised trials of fatigue in non-anaemic women with low ferritin have typically used around 80mg of elemental iron. The Daily Performance provides 14mg per serving (100% NRV) in a better-absorbed, gentler form — a full daily maintenance dose rather than a therapeutic dose for treating deficiency.

Common questions

Will this treat iron-deficiency anaemia?
No. Diagnosed deficiency needs a higher therapeutic dose under clinical guidance. This is a maintenance amount to support normal iron status alongside diet.
Does the iron here cause constipation?
The bisglycinate form is gentler than ferrous sulfate, and the dose is modest, so digestive side effects are less likely — though individual tolerance varies.
Should I take added iron after menopause?
Iron requirement drops once menstrual losses stop, and iron is not excreted readily. If you are postmenopausal, or unsure of your iron status, it is worth checking ferritin with your doctor before taking a daily iron supplement.

Ingredient

Zinc

An immune and reproductive mineral, in a chelated form.

Zinc is a cofactor in hundreds of enzymes and supports immune function, skin, and normal fertility and reproduction. In women specifically, it has been studied for menstrual pain, where meta-analyses of randomised trials report reduced pain intensity.

Form & bioavailability

We use zinc bisglycinate, zinc chelated to glycine — a well-absorbed form that is easier on an empty stomach than zinc salts such as zinc sulfate.

Dose in the evidence

Dysmenorrhoea trials have generally used around 30-50mg of zinc around menstruation. The Daily Performance provides 14mg per serving (140% NRV), a nutritional dose that covers requirement and supports zinc's authorised immune and reproductive roles.

Ingredient

Selenium

An antioxidant trace mineral central to thyroid function.

Selenium is built into the selenoprotein enzymes that protect cells from oxidative stress and support normal thyroid function. Thyroid autoimmunity is far more common in women, and this is where much of the selenium supplementation research has focused.

Form & bioavailability

We use L-selenomethionine, the organic, well-absorbed form of selenium that the body incorporates efficiently and that is used in most selenium trials.

Dose in the evidence

Randomised trials in autoimmune thyroiditis have generally used 200ug of selenium daily and report reductions in thyroid antibodies. The Daily Performance provides 110ug per serving (200% NRV), a nutritional dose that fully meets requirement, below the 200ug used in those thyroid trials.

Common questions

Can you take too much selenium?
Yes — selenium has a relatively narrow safe range, with an upper limit around 300ug/day. At 110ug this formula sits comfortably below that.
Is 110ug enough for thyroid support?
The thyroid-antibody trials used 200ug. We include selenium at a nutritional level to meet requirement and support its authorised antioxidant and thyroid roles, not as a treatment dose.

Ingredient

Chromium

A trace mineral involved in blood-glucose regulation.

Chromium is a trace mineral that supports macronutrient metabolism and the maintenance of normal blood glucose. Most of the clinical interest in supplemental chromium comes from research in women with polycystic ovary syndrome, where insulin resistance is a central feature.

Form & bioavailability

We use chromium picolinate, a well-absorbed organic form of chromium and the one used in most of the supplementation research.

Dose in the evidence

Trials in women with PCOS have used chromium picolinate at 200ug/day and above, with meta-analyses reporting reductions in fasting insulin and insulin resistance. The Daily Performance provides 100ug per serving (250% NRV), a nutritional dose that meets requirement, below the doses used in those metabolic trials.

Common questions

Is chromium only relevant if I have PCOS?
No — chromium's authorised role in blood-glucose and macronutrient metabolism applies generally. The PCOS studies are simply where the metabolic research is concentrated.
How does it fit with the rest of the formula?
It sits alongside inositol and magnesium, which are also studied in the context of insulin sensitivity, particularly in women.

Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Reviews

Frequently asked questions

What is The Daily Performance, and how is it different from a multivitamin?
The Daily Performance is a daily all-in-one supplement for women who train. A multivitamin covers vitamins and minerals. The Daily Performance adds what active women usually buy separately: 3 g creatine, amino acids such as L-glutamine, taurine and acetyl-L-carnitine, electrolytes, and 10 lactic acid bacterial cultures with 5 billion CFU. 38 active ingredients in total, with every amount listed in the nutrition table.
Who is The Daily Performance for?
The Daily Performance is developed for adult women who train and want to combine several daily supplements into one routine.
Is The Daily Performance a protein powder or a meal replacement?
No. The Daily Performance is neither a protein powder nor a meal replacement. It is a daily food supplement with creatine, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, electrolytes and lactic acid bacterial cultures, developed for women who train.
Why does The Daily Performance contain 3 g of creatine?
Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine, which is exactly the amount in one serving of The Daily Performance.
What does The Daily Performance taste like?
Lemon and ginger: fresh and light. It mixes into a thin drink, closer to flavoured water than a protein shake.
How do I take The Daily Performance?
Mix one scoop (14.5 g) in 200–300 ml of water, stir and drink. Take it once a day, whenever it suits you.
Can I take The Daily Performance every day?
Yes. The Daily Performance is designed for daily use. Take one scoop per day and do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
Should I take The Daily Performance on rest days?
Yes. The dose is the same on training days and rest days, since The Daily Performance is designed as a daily routine.
Should I take it before or after training?
It doesn't need to be timed around training. The Daily Performance is dosed for daily intake, so taking it every day matters more than when.
Does creatine cause weight gain or bloating?
3 g a day is a standard daily dose without a loading phase. Some people notice a small increase in body weight during the first weeks. That is water stored in the muscles, not fat. It is not the same as feeling bloated in the stomach.
What are the 5 billion CFU and 10 bacterial cultures?
CFU stands for colony-forming units, a measure used for viable microorganisms. Each daily serving of The Daily Performance contains 5 billion CFU across 10 lactic acid bacterial cultures. The individual cultures are listed in the ingredient declaration.
Can The Daily Performance replace my multivitamin?
The Daily Performance already contains a broad range of vitamins and minerals. If you take a separate multivitamin, check its contents so that vitamins and minerals don't overlap, especially vitamin D, iron and zinc.
How long before I notice a difference?
It varies from person to person. Creatine is stored gradually in the muscles, and at 3 g a day without a loading phase it normally takes around four weeks for stores to fill up. Take one serving every day and give it at least a month before you evaluate.
Can I take The Daily Performance with coffee?
Yes. If you want to optimise iron absorption, leave about an hour between coffee and your drink, since coffee and tea can reduce iron absorption.
Does The Daily Performance contain gluten, dairy or other allergens?
No. The Daily Performance contains none of the 14 allergens that must be declared in the EU, including gluten, milk, soy, eggs and nuts.
Does The Daily Performance contain caffeine or other stimulants?
The Daily Performance contains no added caffeine or other stimulants. The L-theanine comes from green tea extract standardised to 20% L-theanine.
Does The Daily Performance contain sugar or sweeteners?
The Daily Performance contains no sugar. It is sweetened with sucralose.
Why are some vitamins above 100% NRV? Is that safe?
NRV is a reference value for the daily intake that covers the needs of most people. It is not an upper limit. Where EFSA has set a tolerable upper intake level, the amounts in The Daily Performance are below it.
Can I take The Daily Performance on an empty stomach?
Yes. You can take it at any time of day. Many choose the morning to make it a daily routine. If you have a sensitive stomach, take it with or after a meal, and mix it with the full 300 ml of water.
Can The Daily Performance cause side effects?
Most people notice nothing. Some may experience temporary stomach discomfort when starting a new food supplement, and this usually passes.
Can I take The Daily Performance while pregnant or breastfeeding?
No. The Daily Performance is not intended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, nor for children. If you take medication or have a medical condition, consult your doctor before use.
Can I combine The Daily Performance with other supplements?
The Daily Performance already provides 3 g of creatine per serving, so you don't need a separate creatine supplement to reach the daily amount behind the EU-approved claim. If you take other vitamin or mineral supplements, check for overlap. If you take medication, ask your doctor first.
Do I need to take breaks from The Daily Performance?
No. The Daily Performance is developed for daily use and does not need to be cycled. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose of one scoop.
How long does one pouch last?
One pouch contains 30 servings, which lasts 30 days at one scoop a day. With a subscription, a new pouch is delivered every 30 days.
How does the subscription work?
You save 18% and get a new pouch every 30 days with free shipping. You can pause, skip or cancel anytime in your account.
What does one-time purchase mean?
You buy one pouch, pay once, and nothing more is sent. There is no subscription and no commitment. You can order again whenever you like, or switch to a subscription to save 18%.
How should I store The Daily Performance?
Store the pouch in a cool, dry place, well sealed and out of reach of young children.
